It’s like the “holy crap I registered for a class but forgot to drop it, and I am expected to take the final and will fail it, and now I will never graduate from high school” dream, that I still occasionally have even though I am now in my 30s.

LOL! That is such a sad story!
I am so upset I missed you in Los Angeles! My husband had to work and I had the two kiddos. 7pm in downtown los angeles with a two-year-old and a four-year-old would have not made for an enchanting evening (for ANYONE around), but don’t think I didn’t contemplate it.

Congratulations on the highest marks for your chicken soup and matzo balls! Having just finished reading your book, I know that your food is not always so well received. I’m in the same boat in my home but it’s nice to have a husband who knows his way around the kitchen!

I just finished reading the book, the first one I’ve read in less than a week since we brought our little babe to Portland from Ethiopia in Sept. And I loved it!

I have been known to tell my 16 month old son, “You’re acting like a baby!”

Thank you so much for supporting Madonna. So many people just want to tear her down and attack her for doing something good. (Also Angelina Jolie.) When the children she has adopted grow up, I am sure they will be glad that they were able to have a family and everything else they needed. She also has the resources to keep them connected with their birth family if that is desired, which most people may not. And she has done that. While her adopted son, David, did have loving family members, he was still living in an orphanage. Every child should have at least one adult to love them and protect them. For all the people that attack Madonna and Angelina, I wonder what they are doing to help children in need.
